The Ethics of Luck

The Ethics of Luck is a story presented in a series of many small musical episodes. It is the story of the Metadars. It is the story of a group of scientists who form a pacifist community and try to live by an ethics that sees people as being "lucky and unlucky" rather than "good and evil". It is the story of a community that sees everybody - hero and criminal alike - as being equal.

The Ethics of Luck is an adventure in ethics. It is an experiment in building an ethical society.

Volunteer musicians, actors and artists are little-by-little recording and illustrating the Ethics of Luck. Any help you might wish to offer would be welcomed.

Although it's still not finished, here's how to get access to the most up-to-date material:

To read a synopsis of the opera, go to the OVERVIEW page.
For audio clips, song lyrics, and notated music, go to the LISTEN page.
To read the script and see the illustrations, go to the SCRIPT NAVIGATOR.
